The Template:
There are 4 core sections: summary, income, savings, fixed expenses, and variable expenses.
The Summary section is auto calculated based on the information you input (do not modify these cells). Quickly check to see if your spending is within budget – your money left should always be positive.
The Income section tracks all the money you make. This includes your job, and any other income you may generate.
The Savings / Investment section tracks all the money you decide to save / invest. It’s always a good idea to try and put some money away to build an emergency fund, and if you can, start investing! We’ll be sharing an Investment Guide soon :)
Expenses is broken down into Fixed – the expenses that are consistent every month, and Variable – the expenses that will change month to month.
